Probus Club of Berowra Inc.

Aims:

Our purpose is to advance intellectual and cultural interests among adult persons who have retired or are semi-retired from their former occupations. We hold regular meetings and arrange activities to provide opportunities for the growth of friendship and for social interaction. We are non-political and non-sectarian and are not a fund-raising body.

We began and continue as a male Probus club, although we are aware that this could change in the future. Each month, members and their wives, and also the widows of former members, socialize at morning tea and for the hour or so given over to the presentation by the Guest Speaker. Similarly, excursions and other social activities are open to both male and female Probians. We have records of these happy occasions.

Location:

The club currently meets at 10.00 am at the Uniting Church hall on the first Thursday of each month. Committee meetings are currently held at 9.00 am on the first Thursday of each month at this venue, prior to the general meeting.

The annual general meeting of the club takes place on the first Thursday of March of each year.
